When is the BT Gamer Challenge?

The challenge starts on the 1st October 2018 and we’ll be getting our Game On throughout the month of October, culminating on 26th October (the night of the SU2C live TV show).

What is the BT Gamer Challenge?

The BT Gaming Challenging is a fundraising challenge using gaming. During October we’ll set a number of gaming challenges led by gaming ‘influencers’ and pros, and we want you to join in too. Share with your friends and help fundraise for Stand Up To Cancer. If you’re one of the first 50,000 people to fundraise more than £5, we’ll give you a 1 month Xbox game pass trial to say thanks.

Can I only do the BT Gamer Challenge in October?

We’re running this challenge in October to support Stand Up To Cancer but you can keep the challenge going post October if you wish. However the game pass reward will only be available in October.

How does the BT Gamer Challenge work?

Head over to www.btgamer.co.uk and sign up for the challenge there. You’ll see the various challenges from our influencers and gaming professionals, as well as through your Xbox gamer-tag. Hit the most points on Game Score and you could win a prize.

How do I sign up for the BT Gamer Challenge?

Sign up here and you’ll get access to a personal BT Gamer page where you can track donations, integrate with Twitch and share your progress!

What are the BT Gamer Challenge rules?

Other than signing up via www.btgamer.co.uk and setting up a fundraising page, the only rules are to play nice, fundraise with your friends and avoid any activities which could be bad for your health and safety. Otherwise, feel free to create, challenge each other and show us your best videos!

Fundraising

Where does the money I raise go?

Stand Up To Cancer is a real and immediate opportunity to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Stand Up To Cancer funds translational research - research specifically designed to take groundbreaking discoveries from the lab and turn them into new treatments and tests as fast as possible, helping to save lives. Simply put, without translation research, we will not beat this disease. Every day, Stand Up To Cancer’s scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But research alone will not get them there. Stand Up To Cancer is an injection of cash to speed up those breakthroughs from petri dish to the patients who need them now, and save more lives, more quickly.
